I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend AND I am a Flight Attendant!
Travel was always my dream and I’m blessed to have been in the industry for over 30 years!
Health, nutrition, and anti-aging have always been my passion as well! I am a licensed Cosmetologist specializing in skin care, a Reiki Therapist, and a Certified Nutritional Consultant specializing in weight loss. I strive to always educate myself on how to be my best self and sharing that knowledge you.
As glamorous as being a Flight Attendant may seem, there is a downside. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for the world, I have seen places I wouldn’t have normally traveled to and got to share those perks with my family. Plus, I have met the most amazing friends along the way sharing dinners around the world and getting paid for it!
But the lifestyle of being a flight attendant is not an easy one. There are days away from home and loved ones. Sleep schedules are erratic, one day you are getting up at 2 am, the next you are going to sleep at 2 am and that’s if you can sleep which doesn’t always come easy without a routine.
Our job is physical, we spend hours on our feet, pushing and pulling heavy carts, fighting air pressure and turbulence.
Our job is stressful, we are always on, no matter how tired or exhausted, we give you a smile and try to make your journey a pleasant one, while we struggle to just get through the day.
Sometimes there is no time to eat, long duty days running from plane to plane and when we do get time, we grab anything we can, our choices are always fast food in the airport, hotel, or airplane food which we usually eat standing up.
Our work environment is toxic, we are exposed to the cosmic radiation every time we fly, and we go through x-ray machines exposing ourselves to more radiation. There are flame-retardants on everything we touch and we inhale jet fuel more than the average frequent flyer.
Luckily, our bodies are miracles, they are natural healers and detoxifiers, but you have to give it what it needs to get the job done. And that is Sleep, Fitness, and Nutrition, which is a challenge in our profession. Our bodies are constantly stressed and we are at risk for a major health crises.
I am dedicating this website to Flight Crews around the world.
I have compiled recipes, nutrition facts, fun shopping, great ideas to keep us healthy and vibrant and resources from other Flight Attendants who are living a healthy lifestyle. I bring all of this with my education, background, and experience, plus all of the information shared to me by nutritionists, fitness professionals, medical professionals, and flight crews!
You are all awesome and you are my best teachers! This is your website!!!
